Bridging the Gap

HMRC does not provide the software required for MTD submissions. You must use compatible bridging software to submit your records.

Tax Hare acts as that bridge. Keep using your Excel or Google Sheet, upload it to us, and send your UK property quarterly update to HMRC.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about the transition to MTD.

Is the £9.99 per property or per account?
The £9.99 fee is per UK property quarterly submission. Whether you manage one UK property or five, if you submit them together in one spreadsheet as most landlords do, you only pay once per quarterly submission.
Which filings does Tax Hare handle?
Tax Hare handles UK property quarterly updates on HMRC standard update periods. If your HMRC account needs another filing route, such as overseas property, calendar update periods, self-employment, or the annual Final Declaration, we will tell you before any submission is prepared.
Do I have to switch from my existing Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheet?
No. The first release is built for landlords who keep UK property records in a spreadsheet and need to send quarterly updates through MTD-compatible software.
